This marionette is supposed to represent my BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder). The back half is supposed to represent the need for someone to support me, or to "love". The front half is when you get to know me vulnerably, and it results in the desperation and phobia of abandonment. If you can't read the letters, the back says "love me" and the front says "Don't leave me". The concept of the doll being the marionette is to show that I would do anything for someone, whether it be to bend over and backwards for them, to make sure that they don't leave me behind.
It's a really personal topic for me honestly, and I'm quite hesitant to post this. But the process of creating her and making her a reality was very healing. I hope I can reach someone else out there that might have the same feelings, and to let them know they are not alone in this.
